Endings

I’m finishing college.

Whoa, there’s a sentence that’s a long time coming. College has been both the longest, and shortest, as well as the best, and worst of my life so far. But my inner Hermione has won. I am walking across that stage in a few weeks and I could not be more excited about it.

In my academic career, I have gone from majoring in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, to Biochemistry and Cellular and Molecular Biology. I also earned a French and Francophone Studies minor, and probably half a history minor (I love it but I prefer graduating on time). People laugh at how all over the board I have been, because, get this: I want to be a novelist. So, from engineer to novelist. I bet that’s a small club.

All that said, the ending is only the beginning. My plan for after graduation (unless I end up at grad school), is to pursue writing. I plan on working on my few novels, hopefully self-publishing a book soon! And I’m going to take vlogging more seriously (if that’s even possible). I also want to more regularly blog.

These are my goals, and I’m going to try to keep to them. Who knows exactly what the future will bring, but I felt it time to share my commitment to these goals.
